What does Tabiji mean?
Tabiji (旅路) is Japanese for the road of a journey. It is pronounced tah-bee-jee.
Why only four colours?
Black, white, grey and sky blue. Everything we make works with everything else, so you pack less and carry less. We call the colours Sumi, Washi, Ishi and Sora: ink, paper, stone and sky.
Where are your products made?

What is the seal on the sleeve?
It carries the characters 旅路, our name, in the style of a Japanese hanko stamp. Ours is sky blue rather than the traditional red.
How do I care for my Tabiji pieces?
